Christmas Holidays – Opening Hours
To save energy during the holiday season, the University will be closed from 24 December 2018 until 6 January 2019. The University Administration service centres such as the Student Advice and Career Service (IBZ) and the Examinations Office will be closed during this period.
All the libraries of FAU will be closed from Monday December 24 to Wednesday December 26 2018, on Monday December 31 2018, Tuesday January 1 2019, and on Sunday January 6 2019.
During the remaining holidays library opening hours will be as follows:
Main Library (Erlangen)
- December 27 to 28: 8 am to 4 pm
- December 29 to 30: 10 am to 12 pm
- January 2 and following days: Opening hours as usual
Science and Technology Branch Library (Erlangen), Economic and Social Sciences Branch Library (Nürnberg)
- December 27 to 28: 8 am to 4 pm
- December 29 to 30: 10 am to 4 pm
- January 2 to 5: 8 am to 4 pm
Educational Science Branch Library (Nürnberg)
- December 27 to 28: 9 am to 4 pm
- January 2 to 4: 9 am to 4 pm
Departmental Library Law (02JU), Erlangen
- December 27 to 28: 8 am to 4 pm
- December 29 to 30: 8 am to 4 pm
- January 2 to 5: 8 am to 4 pm
All other libraries will be closed from Thursday December 27 to Friday January 4 inclusive.
