All FAU members are invited to join the celebrations

This year marks the 272nd anniversary of FAU’s foundation which will be celebrated at the dies academicus on 4 November. During the celebration, FAU honours people who have made a special contribution to the University by awarding them the title of honorary senator or honorary citizen, or the FAU Distinguished Service Medal. The Renate Wittern Sterzel Prize for promotion of equality and diversity at FAU and the habilitation prizes are also awarded on this occasion. This year the first FAU Ambassador who will represent FAU internationally will be officially announced during the celebration. All FAU members are invited to the celebration. All guests will receive the latest version of our research magazine friedrich.
