The Career Service in Nuremberg supports students of the School of Business, Economics and Society. www.career.wiso.fau.de
We offer the following:
- Personal career advice and support with applications
- Seminars and workshops
- Application documents review service
- information events
If you require career advice or help with application documents or preparing for interviews, you can arrange a personal consultation where we will provide you with advice and suggest individual solutions. Please use the contact form to arrange an appointment.
We cannot, however, correct the language and grammar in your application documents.
We offer a range of events each semester that are specially designed to meet the needs of international students. Application seminars and workshops run by specialists are an excellent way to prepare for your career. Our events are an opportunity for you to meet representatives of companies who can answer questions about your choice of future profession.
You can register for events via StudOn.
The Career Service’s seminars are free of charge. You can register for the seminars in the winter semester from12 pm on Tuesday 15 October 2019. The so-called ‘Happy Hour’ applies until Wednesday 16 October 2019 at 12 pm. All applications up to this point are collected and the relevant number of participants for each seminar is chosen at random. All applicants who don’t receive a place are put on the waiting list and can fill any spaces that become free. You can still register for the seminars after the happy hour to receive a space on the waiting list if the maximum number of participants has already been reached for that particular seminar.
You can withdraw from the course up until five days before the start of the respective seminar.
For instance, if a seminar takes place on a Friday, you can withdraw from the course up until Sunday at the latest. Please de-register yourself via StudOn. This is the only way to guarantee that all our seminars are fully attended.
Students who fail to appear at the seminar for reasons within their control or who inform us that they are not coming less than five days prior to the course are considered to be absent.
Due to the registration and participation conditions, course participants who fail to attend seminars will be prohibited from registering for seminars during the following semester.
