Plant Fair at the Botanical Garden

At the end of April, dedicated gardeners have made good use of the early spring season; all preparatory work has been completed, the beds have been cleared, and both the garden and the gardeners are looking forward to planting season. There is no better time to choose suitable perennials, shrubs, and seeds than at the Plant Fair organized by the Friends of the Botanical Garden Erlangen. Regional plant markets are important hubs for plants and heirloom seeds, helping to promote, secure, and preserve genetic diversity and biodiversity in private gardens. A colorful assortment of perennials, self-collected seeds, and smaller shrubs forms the basis of the market; however, rare and special houseplants can also often be discovered. In addition to various ideas and tips, visitors can enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere of the plant market and take a stroll through the garden to experience the spring with its numerous blossoms and colors.
