Europe (not ERASMUS+)
Studying in Europe
FAU offers students the possibility to spend time at selected partner universities, predominantly in Northern and Eastern Europe, as part of the Europe (not ERASMUS+) exchange programme. There is a lot in favour of studying abroad at Yekaterinburg, Ljubljana, Prague, Riga or Szeged: you can explore vibrant European cities and young, dynamic university towns and make the most of courses offered in English or in some cases even German at the partner universities, whilst at the same time picking up a foreign language, which will help you stand out from the competition in the future when you start to work.
The deadlines for applications for the academic year 2019/2020 are 24 February 2019 (for exchanges beginning in the winter semester 2019/20 or summer semester 2020) and 15 September 2019 (for exchanges beginning in the summer semester 2020).
