The Executive Board at FAU has a new member: Prof. Dr. Andrea Bréard. She holds the Chair of Chinese Studies, focusing on the philosophical and cultural history of China at FAU. What are Andrea Bréard’s plans for the next three years? We asked her. 

Researchers at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and Universitätsklinikum Erlangen have examined a man who has received more than 200 vaccinations against Covid-19. Until now, it has been unclear what effects hypervaccination such as this would have on the immune system.

Prof. Dr. Klaus Überla and Prof. Dr. Andrea Kaifie-Pechmann are members in the newly convened Standing Committee on Vaccination (STIKO). In the next three years, they will both be involved in developing vaccination recommendations for the population in Germany.
