How do I get to the Audimax?

Erlangen is one of the best preserved examples of Baroque city planning in Germany – and the smallest city in Bavaria. Not only that, it is also the perfect University town: lecture halls, seminar rooms, libraries and cafeterias are never far away, the students contribute to the town’s special flair and there is always something going on. The International Comic Salon, the puppet theatre and the poetry festival are just as at home in the city as the well-known Erlangen Bergkirchweih, the Queen of beer festivals. Relax in the Schlossgarten over lunch, pop into a café on the way to the library or drop in to University sports or a beer garden on your way home from the southern campus – the choice is yours. The atmosphere in Erlangen is both welcoming and international, largely thanks to the nearly 40,000 students at FAU, most of whom study in Erlangen, and the approximately 12,000 employees from the whole of Germany and abroad who have their offices, teach and research in Erlangen. In addition, major global players such as adidas and siemens are located in the region and enjoy close connections to FAU and Erlangen itself.
The FAU map service helps you find your way around the University buildings. The results are generated by the map service of the Computer Centre (RRZE) and show the various institutes of the University in the correct surroundings.
