Date: February 7, 2024Time: 6:30 pm – 8:00 pmLocation: Museum für Kommunikation, Lessingstraße 6, Nürnberg

Many countries have gone through revolts, uprisings and revolutions. But when, how and under which circumstances do revolutions happen? Why are some revolutionary regimes more durable than others? What happens to a country and its people once the regime falls? What are the scenarios for the days after a revolution? Prof. Dr. Demmelhuber is a political expert on the Middle East and North Africa and its political and societal transformations.

After Demmelhuber’s talk from a political science perspective, Dr. Zeynab Mirzaei will lead the discussion on the situation in Iran: How can we apply this scientific point of view to the current and future situation of Iran? What are the important factors for a brighter future of Iran?

  • Dr. Eng. Zeynab Mirzaei,
