Pay semester fees in good time

All students must re-register for the next semester twice a year in order to be able to continue studying at FAU. This is done by paying the semester fee. The fee must be paid by bank transfer within the deadlines for re-registration at the University, as otherwise you risk being de-registered.

The semester fee consists of the Student Services fee and the contribution for the semester ticket. For winter semester 2020/21: 127 euros.

Re-registration deadlines

  • For winter semester 2020/21: 1 to 8 July 2020
  • For summer semester 2021: 1 to 8 February 2021

What are the bank details for transferring the semester fee?

In January and June, all students receive an e-mail from the Student Records Office to their FAU e-mail address with information on the re-registration process. Semester fees must be transferred to the University account given in the e-mail (Staatsoberkasse Landshut, IBAN: DE28700500003201190315, BIC: BYLADEMMXXX), listing student registration number (without spaces), surname and given name. If this information is incomplete, your transfer cannot be processed and you will not be re-registered.
