Re-registration and semester contribution
Pay semester contribution in good time
All students must re-register for the next semester twice a year in order to be able to continue studying at FAU. This is done by paying the semester contribution. The contribution must be paid by bank transfer within the deadlines for re-registration at the University, as otherwise you risk being de-registered.
The semester contribution is 67 euros.
- For summer semester 2024: 1 to 9 February 2024
- For winter semester 2024/25: 1 to 7 July 2024
What are the bank details for transferring the semester contribution?
In January and June, all students receive an e-mail from the Student Records Office to their FAU e-mail address with information on the re-registration process. Semester contribution must be transferred to the University account given in the e-mail, listing student registration number (without spaces), surname and given name. If this information is incomplete, your transfer cannot be processed and you will not be re-registered.
