Sustainable tea lights and candles

Like fairy lights, candles traditionally belong to the festive season. However, as most candles are made of paraffin, a product derived from crude oil, they damage our environment. Keep an eye out for more environmentally friendly alternatives:

  • Candles made of renewable biomass (e.g. rapeseed or soy)
  • Candles marked with the RAL quality mark (RAL Gütezeichen)
  • Loose tealights that save on unnecessary packaging
