Oh Christmas tree, where do your baubles come from?

What would a Christmas tree be without its decorations? But this is another thing you should take a closer look at. Tinsel and Christmas tree baubles are hard to dispose of and recycle due to the toxic materials they are made of. Here are a few more environmentally friendly alternatives:

  • Figures made of salt dough
  • Dried Christmas cookies
  • Dried fruit or nuts
  • Ribbons
  • Pine cones
  • Straw stars

These are just some of the suggestions you can find on websites such as Utopia.
