CHE Master’s ranking: Master’s students of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology are particularly satisfied

The CHE Master’s ranking 2022 indicates that many Master’s students are very happy with their choice of FAU. The survey focused on engineering subjects and psychology. Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and Psychology did particularly well. For the ranking, 10,000 students were asked for their opinion on various criteria affecting their studies, and indicators relevant to research and teaching were also taken into account.

The subjects Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and Psychology did particularly well at FAU

FAU students of the subjects Electrical Engineering and Information Technology were particularly satisfied with general study conditions, courses on offer, organization of studies and study support at FAU. Students studying Psychology were particularly satisfied with the option of being able to complete their degree program in a reasonable time period.

Ranked among the leaders in publications and research funding: Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering and Psychology

FAU is one of the leading lights in the area of research criteria in the subjects Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering and Psychology due to its success in the areas of publications per researcher, funding per researcher, doctoral degrees per professor and citations per publication.

CHE Master’s ranking

For the CHE Master’s ranking, Master’s students assess their study conditions based on the general study situation, courses on offer, organization of studies and scientific relevance, including the options for taking a more in-depth approach in academic working and the incorporation of innovative research in the Master’s degree program. This year for the first time, Master’s students also assessed the use of digital teaching elements. In addition, the ranking also covers indicators such as funding per researcher, publications per researcher, citations per publication and doctoral degrees per professor.
