Co-author of the crime series

Already during his studies at FAU, he was praised for his writing talent in term papers and exams. Michael Kobr has been writing the popular detective stories about Inspector Kluftinger with his school friend Peter Klüpfel for 20 years. He studied German and Romance languages and literature at FAU and worked as a teacher for several years after graduating.

In our interview, he reveals how writing then became his profession, why he now also writes crime novels on his own and what he particularly likes to remember from his time at FAU.
