Scented Garden opens for the season on April 1
The Scented Garden is open again
As of Monday April 1, daily from 8 am until 6 pm, Palmsanlage, Erlangen
In time for spring, FAU’s Scented Garden at the Palmsanlage is opening its gates for visitors again. The first visitors can meander through the garden and enjoy the first signs of spring, past sweet smelling plants such as sweet violets or corydalis. Keep an eye out for the many bees and beetles that can be found in the gravel and sand in the flower beds at this time of year. The Scented Garden provides them with the ideal habitat.
FAU’s Botanical Garden
FAU has another wonderful garden, the Botanical Garden that is located next to the Schlossgarten in Erlangen. The outdoor areas of the Botanical Garden are open daily from 8 am until 4 pm, the greenhouses are open from Tuesday until Sunday from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm. The popular plant exchange will be held on April 27. All the dates for spring and summer are available in our in-house magazine Palmenblatt or on the website of the Botanical Garden (both in German).
