Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) is celebrating the achievements of new doctoral graduates in 2024 with an awards ceremony, at the same time as honoring the achievements of all alumni who obtained a doctoral degree from FAU 15, 25, or 50 years ago.
A gala dinner will be held for alumni on Friday evening, June 21, 2024 and on Saturday morning, June 22, 2024, alumni can meet and chat with the new doctoral graduates at the interdisciplinary graduation ceremony.

Gala dinner in honor of alumni
- 4 pm: Doors open
- 5 pm: Celebration of alumni’s achievements with a three-course dinner (including drinks) and award ceremony in the presence of the University Executive Board.
- Musical accompaniment: Moonlight Special Trio
- Dress code: Formal

- Award ceremony for new doctoral graduates

Registration for anniversary celebrations
We would kindly request all alumni to register for the event by May 26, 2024. You can either attend both days, or just one of the events. Tickets for the Friday evening cost 85 euros per person, and 23.50 euros for the Saturday morning.
