All students must re-register for the next semester twice a year in order to be able to continue studying at FAU. This is done by paying the semester fee. The fee must be paid by bank transfer within the deadlines for re-registration at the University, as otherwise you risk being de-registered.
The semester contribution (Student Services contribution) is 72 euros.

For summer semester 2025: February 5 to 9, 2025
What are the bank details for transferring the semester fee?
In January and June, all students receive an email from the Student Records Office to their FAU email address with information on the re-registration process. The semester contribution must be transferred to the University account given in the email, listing your student registration number (without spaces), surname and given name. If this information is incomplete, the payment for your semester contribution cannot be processed and you will not be re-registered.
