Academia Europaea

The Academia Europaea is a European, non-governmental association with the aim of promoting education and research for the public good. Its 5,500 members are outstanding researchers in their fields, among them 88 Nobel laureates. Membership is exclusively by invitation and is based on a rigorous selection process by professional peers and committees, which requires outstanding scientific achievements.
