The foundation promotes research projects and supports students at the chairs of economics at the School of Business, Economics and Society at FAU.

The foundation supports the School of Business, Economics and Society by awarding prizes for outstanding achievements to students in the Business Administration degree program.
Dr. Alfred-Vinzl-Stiftung
The foundation supports teaching and research in the subjects of the former Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Theology at FAU. In particular, it strives to provide support for exchanges for lecturers and students with the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and the University of Bern.

Applications for funding for a scientific project at FAU must be submitted by April 9, 2026 (final deadline!) to the following address: katrin.lindner@fau.de. The maximum amount of funding awarded per project is up to 3000 euros. The meeting to decide on funding recipients will be held in late April 2026.
