Accident insurance

Students are covered by accident insurance during their studies (classes, field trips, work in the university library) and on their way between home and university. Accidents must be reported immediately to the Student Records Office.

Information on insurance cover is available on the websites of the Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung (German Social Accident Insurance) and the Kommunale Unfallversicherung Bayern (Bavarian municipal accident insurance provider).
