Every year, FAU invites scholarship holders and sponsors to Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg for the scholarship ceremony of the FAU Deutschlandstipendium scholarship. During the ceremony, talented young academics, who often get involved in social projects alongside their studies, receive recognition for their achievements. Sponsors then have the opportunity to meet their scholarship holders in person.

Around 230 scholarship holders have been awarded a Deutschlandstipendium scholarship at FAU in the current funding period for 2025/26.
