FAU performs well in THE subject rankings

FAU’s performance in the Times Higher Education Subject Ranking improves significantly

FAU shows what it can do in the Times Higher Education (THE) subject rankings: In three of the four groups of subjects – Clinical and Health, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Psychology – the University’s performance has significantly improved on an international level.

In the Psychology subject group, FAU ranks 108th internationally and comes in eighth on a national level, which is an improvement of 55 and 7 places respectively. In the citations ranking factor, FAU ranks at place 86 internationally thanks to the excellent research carried out at the University. In the Clinical and Health category, FAU moved up 35 places internationally to place 137 and remains at ninth place in the national rankings. In addition, in this subject category, FAU ranks 63rd place for ‘Industry Income’, or third-party funding from industry. In the last subject group, Physical Sciences, FAU ranks at place 186, which is an improvement of 21 places. On a national level, it moved up 3 places and is thus ranked at place 16.
