From September 22 to 26, 2025, FAU will be celebrating the innovative strength of the FAU ecosystem with the FAU Innovation Days. On this important occasion, not only students and researchers, but also friends of innovation and interested individuals from business and society are invited to engage in five days filled with ideas and inspiration. A wide range of events will provide space for exchanging ideas, networking and plenty of food for thought.

We would particularly like to recommend three exciting formats: On September 22 at 7pm, an event called “Die Kraft der Algorithmen” (The Power of Algorithms) will be held at the Josephs Innovations Lab in Nuremberg. Experts from FAU and from industry will discuss the latest developments in artificial intelligence (event held in German). On September 23, you will have the opportunity to take part online from home or during your lunch break in the “TechTalk Innovation”, which is being held in English. How do strong innovation ecosystems arise? This is the question that Dr. Mirjam Storim (Head of Strategy & Technology Relations, Siemens), Prof. Dr. Kathrin Möslein (Vice President FAU) and Matthias Trost (co-founder & CEO of AMPERIAL) will be looking into together. On September 26, we would like to invite you back to Josephs to have a chat with Willi the robot. 90 years ago Wilhelm Vershofen collected the opinions of consumers and today it’s Willi the robot’s turn to ask the questions. You can look forward to an entertaining chat between Willi and Dr. Carolin Kaiser from the Nürnberg Institut für Marktentscheidungen e. V..
