She has been German Ambassador to the People's Republic of China since July 2022 and heads the German Embassy in Beijing: Dr. Patricia Flor. As a diplomat, the native of Nuremberg represents German interests in the host country. She completed her doctoral studies in Eastern European history, economics and philosophy at FAU in 1995.
