Program overview
What is the degree program about?
In the module program “Italian culture”, students acquire interdisciplinary subject and methodological skills. In modules offered by the Institute of Art History, Italian Studies and language courses offered by the Language Centre, students learn the foundations of Italian art history, literature and language.
Modules from this program are standard modules offered for Bachelor’s degree programs that have been curated to form an interdisciplinary program. Each of the modules are completed with a module examination. Examinations taken within this program can be accredited toward a subsequent Bachelor’s degree program.
Module programs usually last for two semesters but can be extended by one semester. Students require 30 ECTS credits to complete the program successfully and receive their certificate. They must study one module in each of the subjects art history, Italian literature and Italian language.

- German language skills for international applicants: DSH 2 (written 2 / oral 1) or equivalent

The application deadline for international applicants is July 15th for the winter semester and January 15th for the summer semester.
