Officer for Brand Management (CBO) appointed by the Executive Board of the University

The appointment of a Officer for Brand Management (CBO) by the Executive Board of the University underscores the importance of the brand at FAU. This position strengthens the link between brand strategy and university management by providing a direct interface for strategic decisions and measures. As CBO, Silke Sauer works closely with relevant committees and departments and ensures the implementation of brand-related measures at the university management level.

The FAU Brand Office, which is affiliated with the CBO, ensures that the university’s brand image meets the highest standards. It coordinates branding and marketing activities, advises departments, provides templates and guides, and supports the consistent implementation of corporate design, storytelling, visual language, and logos. In this way, it promotes the consistent application of brand guidelines and strengthens FAU’s identity.
