20 August: Application deadline for degree programmes with admission restrictions or that require advance registration

Time is running out: 20 August 2020 is the deadline for applications to degree programmes with admission restrictions such as Medicine, Psychology, International Business Studies, Food Chemistry or Industrial Engineering and Management at FAU in the winter semester 2020/21. Our overview of all degree programmes will tell you whether you need to apply via www.hochschulstart.de or via campo.

20 August is also the deadline for degree programmes at FAU that require advanced registration. You must register by this deadline to confirm your place at FAU. Applications that are received after 20 August cannot be considered.

Students who are already enrolled at FAU and would like to change subjects to a degree programme with admission restrictions must complete the Application for change of degree programme and submit this to the Student Records Office by 20 August 2020.

Telephone consultation hours for the Student Advice and Career Service

If you have any questions or problems, the FAU Student Advice and Career Service should be your first port of call. The Student Advice and Career Service is currently available by phone, e-mail or by filling in the contact form.

General enquiries can be made by telephone from Monday to Friday from 8 am. to 2 pm via the phone numbers listed under drop-in sessions. Individual consultations can also be offered virtually, via Zoom, after making an appointment.

International applicants

The application period for international students with foreign qualifications who wish to start a Bachelor’s degree programme or State Examination in the winter semester 2020/21 also ends on 20 August 2020.

It looks like winter semester 2020/21 is going to start rather differently from previous years.
