The degree program is offered in a modular structure. It comprises 14 attendance phases (a total of 36 days, including 14 Saturdays) in two years. The courses are mainly held as three-day attendance events at intervals of one to three months (each Thursday – Saturday).

The extra-occupational degree program also provides for in-depth study of selected practical areas. Depending on experience and practical background as well as personal interest, two of four elective modules are to be taken.

The target group is (technical) university graduates from various disciplines with professional experience in fields of activity related to organizational and personnel development who want to acquire in-depth knowledge and attach importance to practically oriented further training (e.g. personnel officers, managers, persons with responsibility for change processes or organizational consultants).

We also address people who want to prepare themselves specifically for taking on tasks in this field.

The degree program is specially tailored to the needs of part-time students and offers you the following advantages:

• Direct practical relevance: You will learn from case studies and in projects, the results of which will flow directly into your master’s thesis. Even during your studies, study results are integrated into your everyday professional life. Not only you yourself, but also the company benefits from your studies right from the start.
  
• Flexible study structure: Our learning arrangement gives you the opportunity to determine the timing of your learning with few attendance phases and, in return, various self-learning materials. You can learn flexibly: at home, at work and at the university. With approx. 30 attendance days in two years, attendance is geared to an effective level. Work and study can thus be optimally combined. In most federal states in Germany, employees are offered the opportunity to take time off from their jobs for a certain period of time in order to take advantage of opportunities for further education. • Internationally recognized qualification: With your Master’s degree, you will acquire an internationally recognized additional qualification that will open up career opportunities for you and increase your job prospects. With the background knowledge you have acquired, you will be a competent contact person in the company. In addition, the master’s degree qualifies you for a doctorate.

• Advice and exchange: You will receive professional advice not only from the lecturers, but also from your fellow students, in person or via the Internet. We leave enough room for the exchange of ideas among each other.

• Competent lecturers: Our lecturers come from renowned universities as well as internationally successful companies and, with their expertise from science and business practice, are significantly involved in the content design and quality of the study program. They are familiar with business practice and include concrete questions in the attendance phases. Through your questions, you help determine the content of the degree program.
