Successes at FAU in 2023

In many ways, 2023 was a challenging year. In view of world politics, it was also a rather bleak year that once more showed us how fragile our peace, our life together in society and our prosperity are. However, it also showed us that all of us at universities have a clear mission that should shine through our research and teaching at all times: to stand up for freedom, democracy and human rights and to contribute to an objective discourse with scientific facts during heated discussions. Despite all the challenges facing society at present, as the year comes to a close, it is time to reflect with pleasure on the many successes FAU celebrated in 2023.
