FAU has performed excellently in another ranking. After top placements in the THE and Shanghai rankings, the University has now obtained excellent results in the Master’s degree programme ranking by the Centre for Higher Education (CHE).

Exercising and doing good – not just for oneself, but also for cancer patients. Universitätsklinikum Erlangen, the Comprehensive Cancer Center Erlangen EMN and the Association for Nutrition and Exercise for Cancer Patients have extended an invitation to join them for a special event.

FAU is number 20 in the world – and number 1 in Germany – for the prestigious indicator 'citations per faculty'.

A great success for FAU: in the current Academic Ranking of World Universities, also known as the Shanghai Ranking, the University is ranked among the top 200 universities in the world for the first time.

An international team of researchers has developed a new opioid pain reliever with a characteristic of special significance: the new analgesic appears to have virtually no serious side effects.
