Central welcome week for international students
International Affairs offers welcome weeks for international students at the beginning of the semester in order to provide assistance with legal formalities in Germany and with settling in at FAU. The program is open to all international students. If you have any questions on the program, please contact: mobility@fau.de
The welcome weeks are held twice a semester:

February 24: Pre-Arrival Day for all international students. Useful information before starting to study at FAU in Germany.
Time: 2 pm-4 pm (CET)

March 4: Welcome day for students taking part in the preparatory language course (FIT course). City tours available afterwards.
April 2 to 10: Welcome week for all international students. City tours available during the Easter weekend.

The faculties, schools and departments at FAU also offer their own welcome events. If your specific area is not offering a program in the current semester, you can join events from another department or another faculty at the same location.
