First-year students’ welcome event

FAU has welcomed its new students with a large party, in the Heinrich Lades Halle in Erlangen and at the School of Business, Economics and Society in Nuremberg (WiSo).

Lecture period at FAU gets off to a flying start A total of 38,727 students have registered for winter semester 2022/23 (as of October 14, 2022). This is an increase compared to the previous year. We are particularly pleased that the number of students starting their first semester at a German university has risen by 7.9 percent.
