Medical Engineering, branch of study Health and Medical Data Analytics – At a glance
The highly selective Master’s study track HMDA (M.Sc. in Health & Medical Data Analytics and Entrepreneurship) intents to achieve a greater integration of innovation and entrepreneurship skills within the study program. The study track is funded by the European MedTech consortium EIT Health and brings together four top-notch universities from different European countries. In contrast to traditional university education in engineering, the M.Sc. in HMDA aims to provide students with innovation and business skills in addition to their studies in medical data Analytics. The M.Sc. in Health and Medical Data Analytics was awarded the EIT label in 2019.

Medical Engineering, branch of study Medical Imaging and Data Processing – At a glance
The programme is a technical and research-driven Master’s degree programme with a specialized focus on medical needs. Students are familiarized with systematic and instrumental methods and acquire professional and methodological skills. Thanks to the interdisciplinary content, graduates are highly qualified for a career in medical image and data processing. Methods for developing software systems in medical engineering are taught, ranging from basic algorithms for image improvement, image reconstruction, and image registration to computer-aided diagnostic support and hospital information systems.
