Companies need to ensure that the following is put in place for traineeships or the practical phases of the program:

  • Authorization as a company providing training
  • Comprehensive guarantees of quality for the practical phases
  • Mentoring/contact(s) for cooperative degree program students at the company
  • Vocational training contracts with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) or the Chamber of Trades (HWK) (with training contract if applicable)
  • Optional: Creation of a long-term personnel plan for filling management positions
