The various exchange programs
Free mover is the term used to refer to students who choose to go abroad of their own accord rather than as part of an FAU partnership. Apart from that, FAU offers a wide range of exchange options through partnerships with foreign universities that usually entail a waiver of tuition fees, simplified admission procedures and access to scholarship programs. In particular, the following exchange programs are available to FAU students:
- Erasmus+: Study stays in Europe and Erasmus+ partner countries
- Direct exchange: Predominantly universities overseas.
