Lisa Handke focuses on virtual collaboration. She researches how and under which circumstances teams and their members adapt their behavior to suit the requirements of a virtual working environment and what support they receive.

She is convinced that the future of work should and will offer ever greater flexibility due to virtual collaboration. What she often misses in discussions is consideration of the necessary structures, particularly at the team level.
