FAU President Joachim Hornegger invited 10 students to lunch in the cafeteria and answered all the questions they’ve always wanted to ask him in his position as President of the University.
During the new “Meet and Mingle” format with the President of FAU, students not only had the chance to ask their questions during lunch in the cafeteria, they were also able to share insights into everyday student life. Which career tips can the FAU President share? How can the University support students who are caring for relatives? What was the most difficult decision he had to take in his position as the President of the University? And how does he see the job market in Germany? As well as these issues, the conversation also covered students’ current concerns, from challenges while studying to individual experiences. Prof. Dr. Joachim Hornegger was very interested to hear from the students and welcomed the opportunity to share views openly with the students on an equal footing.
