Dear guests of the Castle Garden Festival,
As is the case every year, the final decision on whether or not the Castle Garden Festival can take place on the scheduled date will be made at 12:00 p.m. sharp on the Friday before the event. This year is no exception.
The 2026 Castle Garden Festival will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, as planned.
The weather forecast for Saturday predicts midsummer temperatures. We have therefore made a few last-minute, one-time adjustments:
Dress code: Instead of formal evening wear, this year’s dress code is festive summer attire. For gentlemen, ties, bow ties, or tuxedos are not required. We look forward to seeing elegant attire appropriate for the occasion and the temperatures.
Welcome: The official welcome by the president will not take place until 8:30 p.m., giving you more flexibility in choosing your arrival time. Admission begins as planned at 5:30 p.m.—drinks, food, and music will be available from the start.
Due to the temperatures, each person is permitted to bring 0.5 liters of water in a clear plastic bottle onto the event grounds.
Additional Water Station: To prevent dehydration, there will be a station in the entrance hall of the Kollegienhaus where tap water will be served in cups to all guests who need additional fluids. It will be staffed from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.—that is, during the hottest part of the day.
