During the week, he is behind the microphone at Radio Gong from Funkhaus Nürnberg and at the weekend he fires up the fans of 1. FCN as the stadium announcer: FAU alumnus Sebastian Wendl. He studied Political Science and German Language and Literature in Erlangen between 2009 and 2013, and has been actively involved in radio and media circles for almost 10 years now. In our interview he explains what role FAU has played in his career to date.

Niels Rossow studied business administration at FAU from 1998 to 2002. After many years of employment at Adidas, the native of Nuremberg is now the commercial director of 1. FC Nuremberg (Club). Roland Busch is the CEO of Siemens AG and chair of the University Council. After completing his doctoral degree in physics at FAU in 1994, he entered into research at Siemens. He has been the President and CEO since February 2021. In our interview, he shares his favourite spot at FAU and lets us know what he would ask Werner von Siemens.

Whether for your calendar, contacts, working on documents or writing e-mails, the smartphone has long since become a mobile office for many people. Students also increasingly use their mobile devices for organising their studies and for revision. FAU alumnus Quirin Malcherzyk and Pascal Pierre, who is currently studying at FAU, have developed an app for studying called ‘Flexudy’ together with another FAU alumnus, Benjamin Albrecht, and two friends, Deli Sarsar and Steffen Süß.
