Admissions Office and Master’s Office

Organization of the application procedure

FAU’s Admissions Office organizes the admissions procedure for international and German students and processes applications for swapping university places.

Application and admissions procedure

Application

Applications for places on degree programs at FAU are organized via the application portal campo.fau.de.

You must first register in the portal and are then assigned an IdM account. After that, you can use your IdM user account to apply for your degree program on campo.fau.de.

Admissions procedure

We check your documents after receiving your application. We will contact you if we have any questions. You will receive an email via Campo about the change of status of your application as soon as we have issued the confirmation or rejection of admission. The confirmation or rejection of admission will then be ready to download.

Enrollment

If you receive an admissions letter, you must file an enrollment request online via campo.fau.de and then enroll later by post or by email. You can find out whether you need to enroll by post or by email in your enrollment request, which is available to download as a pdf from your user account at www.campo.fau.de.
