Please be aware that our application portal movein will be switched off on 30 September 2016 and will no longer be available after this date. Any data or admission letters stored in this system cannot be accessed after this point. We therefore recommend that you print and/or save a copy of your admissions letter before this date. This applies in particular for students who have been granted admission with conditions who must submit proof that they have met these conditions to the Student Records Office by the deadline specified by the Admissions Committee. The Student Records Office will not be able to edit your data once these conditions have been met without this letter.

  1. Once you have filled out your full application in movein, go to the upload area in the menu.
  2. Click ‘Durchsuchen’ (browse) to open a window to find your file.
  3. Click on the pdf file that you wish to upload and then click ‘Öffnen’ (open).
  4. This file will then be selected to be uploaded.
  5. Now click ‘Weiter’ (next). The uploaded document will appear in the upload area in the menu.

Each page must be created and uploaded as a separate file (e.g. single page CV) unless the pages belong together (e.g. academic report with several pages). Pages which belong together should be put in one file. All documents must be in pdf format and must not be larger than 2000 KB.

Once you have filled out the full online application and uploaded the pdf files, you can then submit your online application including the uploaded files by clicking ‘Antrag senden’ (submit application).

Changing uploaded documents

In the upload area in the menu, you can check the documents which you have uploaded by clicking on the files. If you discover that you have uploaded the wrong file, you can replace it with a different file by

clicking ‘Ändern’ (change) and starting the upload process again.

In addition to applying online, you must send your documents by post to the following address:
