FAU Innovation Days
From September 22 to 26, 2025, FAU will be celebrating the innovative strength of the ecosystem with the FAU Innovation Days. Students, doctoral candidates, researchers, company founders and partners, fans and friends from business and society are invited to join us for five days full of innovation. A varied program of events, workshops, talks and a prestigious innovation congress offer the ideal backdrop for exchanging ideas, getting some inspiration and for networking.
EELISA: PhD Innovation Day
Discover the potential of your doctoral degree for founding a company and develop innovation from your research. During this workshop, you can use Lego Serious Play to develop ideas, find out about IP requirements and network with participants from all over Europe.

The summer school offers expert-led training in DH tools and methods. It will also offer opportunities to critically discuss the type of research questions that such tools and methods can help to answer. With a focus on gender issues, the school will investigate the interactions between society and data.

SIEMENS & FAU: TechTalk Innovation

ZOLLHOF: Family Office Day
Together with with UnternehmerTUM and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, ZOLLHOF will host this year’s national “Family Office Day”, which serves to provide information on practice-relevant topics and offers a protected space for informal exchange among investors.
FAU AI Park: Quantum Computing Expert Group
The kickoff for the Quantum Computing Expert Group is aimed at researchers and medium-sized enterprises in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region. It serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and networking and will present the first applications for quantum computing driven AI in companies.
